The SLN Group came into existence with the purchase of 1000 acres of coffee plantation by the Late Shri SLN Sathappa Chettiar from the Rajah of Chettinad more than 50 years ago. We flourished in the business of growing coffee, enhancing capacity by adding 100 acres of plantation in 1973, and another 200 acres in 2003. In 1997 we started the business of trading in green coffee in a small way, setting up an export facility in the name of SLN Exports in the very next year.
